Internships
The Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence (ACESDV) offers meaningful internship opportunities for students seeking hands-on experience in advocacy, nonprofit operations, and social impact work. Our interns support several key departments, including the Domestic Violence Response Team, the Sexual Violence Response Team, the Victim Services (Arizona Sexual & Domestic Violence Helpline, the Administrative Team, and the Engagement & Outreach Team.
We post the available internship roles on our Job Board and recruit interns on a semester-based timeline:
- Fall internships: Recruitment begins in May–June, with selections finalized by August.
- Spring internships: Recruitment begins in October–November, with selections finalized by December.
- Summer internships: Recruitment begins in February–March, with selections finalized by May.
Internships at ACESDV are unpaid and are classified as volunteer positions. Our internships offer students valuable professional experience, the opportunity to support survivor-centered work across Arizona, and the ability to network with a wide range of programs throughout Arizona. Many students receive academic credit through their university; we are happy to complete any required paperwork.
We look for students who are passionate about social justice, survivor-centered services, and strengthening Arizona’s response to sexual and domestic violence. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply early, as placements are limited each semester.
