OUR FUTURE IN POLICY

#EVERYsurvivor deserves a future free from violence, and we are building it together.

ACESDV will continue to host pre-legislative session forums to inform and guide our 2026–2027 legislative public policy agenda for the upcoming session. Building on the overwhelming community engagement, particularly around HB 2995, we envision establishing a Public Policy Committee composed of community members with lived experience. Committee members will help shape policy priorities and provide testimony on the impact of proposed legislation on victims, survivors, and children.
Host pre-legislative session forums.
Inform the 2026–2027 legislative public policy agenda.
Develop a Public Policy Committee centered on lived experience.
