ACESDV hosts a number of collaborative efforts to bring concerned leaders, citizens and communities together to solve some of the most pressing issues facing sexual and domestic violence survivors.
Communities of Color Committee
(Previously the Women of Color Committee) – (sign-up here)
- Purpose: ACESDV Communities of Color Committee exists as a platform for survivors, advocates, and communities of color experiencing sexual and domestic violence through education, support, and advocacy.
- Intended Participants: Those who identify as people of color wanting to end sexual and domestic violence in Arizona are welcome to join.

Immigration Workgroup

- Purpose: The Immigration Workgroup is a group that comes together to discuss immigration issues that arise in our communities, collaborate and share resources. This may include immigration questions or processes, and current issues/updates.
- Intended Participants: Member programs; multidisciplinary (immigration attorneys) Victim Advocates, any organization working with survivors.
The Legal Committee
- Purpose: Identify the problems victims face in access to justice and fair treatment and take steps to remedy those barriers. Sub-committees are occasionally formed from this group based on an identified need. This group meets monthly, with sub-committees meeting as needed.
- Intended Participants: Attorneys, lay legal advocates, law students, and community members working to assist survivors of sexual and/or domestic violence in understanding and accessing any part of the legal system.

Rainbow Collective Committee

Purpose: To stand in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities and to enhance awareness, support, and response to LGBTQIA+ survivors of domestic and sexual violence. This group meetings monthly.
Intended Participants: Any interested and supportive community members. Let’s Talk About Pronouns
