Healing from Sexual Violence

This 90-minute webinar will focus on defining sexual violence and its prevalence and root causes. Attendees will learn about the role that each system plays in survivor advocacy including health care, law enforcement, and advocates. We will analyze the traumatic impact of sexual violence and the harmful effects of rape myths and victim blaming as well as identify different healing avenues and best practices in responding to survivors of sexual violence.
