Men Who Are Survivors

Men Who Are Survivors

According to the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey, 1 in 4 men report experiencing unwanted sexual contact at some point in their lifetime. While rates of sexual violence against women and members of gender minorities are much higher, persistent myths about the victimization of men create shocking disparities in the violence experienced versus the services accessed. This 90-minute webinar seeks to educate service providers and community responders about this critical gap in services, and to raise awareness that patriarchy (and the sexual violence that follows it) harms all of us.
