From clerical sex scandals to #ChurchToo, religion and sexual violence are viral issues in our period of intense cultural shift; but the treatment of this intersection in popular culture is not always nuanced. This 90-minute webinar will explore the complex intersections of religious identity, participation in religious community, and sexual violence. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, participants are encouraged to approach the topic with curiosity and openness. A space for dialogue will be provided.
